The author, Bill Robinet, pictured here with his Navy N3N-3, has been a pilot for 50 years. His flying career started in Phoenix, Az. in 1949. His cropdusting adventures took place in the 1950's. He quit flying cropdusters after completing his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1958. He is a registered professional engineer, who is now retired from his business which had offices in Phoenix and El Paso, Texas. He is a certified flight instructor, aircraft mechanic and has an inspection authorization!
